Welcome to my shop, I encourage everyone to sit a spell. You might just get bit by the woodworkers bug.
When you first walk into my wood shop, ironicaly, the first thing you'll run into is my metal corner.
The center of my shop.
My main tool bench. The cabinet was once a truck box. Before that it was origanly a dance floor at our wedding. The best spent money for material yet I think.
In the back corner is my lathe and office.
My drill press and router table. The bandsaw is just on the backside of the drill press.
What would a downeast wood shop be without a wood-stove?
I do most of my handy work here. (close up)
My wife will ask from time to time "How many clamps do you need?". I smile and let her know "You can never have enough clamps". Although there was one article I had read a confession to having enough. I didn't believe it and read the next article.
My cutting table and dust collector, that I totaly recomend if you have the means. The recycled french door peers into what will be the gallery. I like the idea of visitors seeing and getting a feel of where and how items are created.
Storage, with room to grow.
The last stop is the finish room, which I feel lucky to have. Hope to see you soon.
