Honorable work. Making sure parishioners safely get to church.
Many hands make light work. New vent covers at the school.
TaDa! A New Dock! One that we can actually tie off to!
Going Down?
After a little ground work we got to the shore.
Here I built my first deck using Trex Decking. Letting someone else put together my material list was another lesson learned, and a story for another time.
Then the owners decided to add a front step. Built with Trex Decking. I like working with Trex of all the composite decking there is out there. I believe it handles more like wood than any of the others.
It was time for a makeover, and every little girl is a princess. Here I just tried to make it feel more real. The lower photo is what the room used to look like.
Really.
Raising the roof.
This deck was the most fun to build
What would a Half moon Chimney be with out a round deck.
Good Ol'fasioned Cedar deck.
(It's kinda hard to see here, but the red cedar ballasters and caps look good. Don't forget to treat though, or the cedar will really fade.)
A deck rebuild down at the yard on Somes Sound.
You wouldn't know it , but there was just a stove before I put the cabinets in for this home-owner.
Daddys little helpers.
Here I built a fort...
Then it got turned into a play house.
When I got here the deck and frame had been started. Due to an unforseen injury I was asked to finish it. This little addition for the exsisting camp was on a granite hill side, there was a bit of up and down.
Later, I built a deck between the two. As you can see (kinda) the view of the Sound wasn't that bad.

Finishing off this gas stove and building the deck where a couple of my first jobs in the area. The pic of the stove was taken with a Polaroid and then scanned later, it was a little while ago.
Stay tuned...
